Ile de Re, known as The White Island for the quality of its light and whitewashed houses.. Of the islands ten villages, two are classified as on the Most Beautiful Villages in France list.. Lots of biking and hiking await you on the isle.
The Cognac houses may be interest for an up close and personal look at this variety of brandy. Visits to the famous Cognac houses and then discover the smaller producers along the cognac trails in the area.
